Why We Are Opening a Sports Store in Augsburg
Nowadays, most companies mainly rely on the online shop as a sales channel. Stationary trade is being reduced further step by step. With SPORTKIND, we are now taking the exact opposite approach: we are daring to make the leap from pure online retail to offline business. Why?
Because we want to set an example against dying inner cities. SPORTKIND is colourful and diverse. And in our opinion, cities should be just as colourful and diverse in the future.
Moreover, the two founders of SPORTKIND, Nadine Lux and Gabi Windisch, are from Augsburg themselves. The company headquarters are also centrally located in the Bismarckviertel. So Augsburg is close to our hearts.
And the next reason is obvious: there is a general lack of sports shops in Augsburg's city centre.

Are all models available in the store?
We present a diverse selection of models in our store, but we do not have all variants in stock locally. Don't worry if the model you want isn't available in store - we'll be happy to deliver it to your home free of charge!
Is there parking available directly at the store?
Our store is located in the middle of Augsburg's beautiful city center
at the town hall square. Therefore, unfortunately we do not have any parking facilities
directly at the shop.
