Lightfastness of fabrics
Lightfastness describes how well a fabric retains its color when exposed to sunlight. The higher this value, the more durable the color remains—even after prolonged use outdoors or under strong lighting. Important to know: Lightfastness can vary depending on the color. Strong, dark colors are generally more durable, while very bright or neon-colored fabrics are more sensitive to sunlight and can fade more quickly. This is due to the different color pigments, which react differently to natural UV radiation. We therefore recommend paying attention to colors with high lightfastness for particularly light-intensive use or treating more sensitive colors with more care. This also means not drying these textiles on a clothesline in direct sunlight , but rather hanging them indoors.
